Church Secretary

I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. After high school graduation, I attended the University of Northen Iowa in Cedar Falls pursuing a degree in Vocal Music Education. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and set out to find a music teaching position. I taught Jr. High and High School music for two years in a small northeast Iowa community before moving to the Kansas City, Mo. area. In K.C., I taught elementary music at a private Catholic school. I was married while living in K.C. to my college sweetheart, Denny. We will celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary in December of 2007. We have three grown and married children and three grandchildren. Mark, our oldest, lives in Ft. Myers, Fl. where he operates his own engineering business. Mike lives in the Dallas metroplex and is starting his own engineering business. Kristi also lives in the Dallas metroplex and is a manager in the Human Resources Department at Texans Credit Union. I joined the St. Barnabas staff in May of 1998. Denny and I have lived in Plano for 28 years and we are members of St. Luke's Lutheran Church next door to St. B.
